1. Define the site map
List the smallest set of pages that serves the business or publication. Avoid designing before you know what the site needs to say.
2. Choose the editing system
Use native blocks or a visual builder such as Divi, Elementor, Bricks or Beaver Builder. Pick one and learn it rather than stacking several.
3. Set global styles
Define type, colors, spacing, buttons and container widths before creating every page.
4. Build templates
Create repeated headers, footers, blog or product templates centrally.
5. QA before launch
Check mobile layouts, keyboard access, forms, metadata, sitemap, robots rules, performance and analytics or verification scripts.
